The Capitol Area Bluegrass and Old-time Music Association (CABOMA) is a non-profit corporation dedicated to preserving and promoting bluegrass and old-time music.
D.C. Bluegrass Union
Since 2003, the DC Bluegrass Union has been a federally-recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting Bluegrass music in the Washington DC and surrounding areas,(South to Fredericksburg, VA, North to So. PA, West to Shepherstown, WV and East to the Eastern shores of Maryland & So. Delaware), basically anywhere within a 2-3 hour drive of DC. This area is arguably THE most active, creative, and productive Bluegrass community in the world.
