Hard Times Come Again No More

Stephen Foster's commentary on the Great Famine of the 1840s.

This tune isn't a hymn:  it is Foster's sentimental (or prophetic) call to succor those weaker or less fortunate than ourselves.  I'm including it here because it reminds me strongly of John Worrell's insistance that being mindful of the weak and the poor was the main thrust of the Old Testament prophets.
